John England Recognised as a Gold Level Innovator

We here at John England are ecstatic to announce that we have become a Gold Level Innovator through Innovate NI as part of their Innovation Accreditation Programme. We are beyond delighted to be recognised for the work our design and weaving teams put into bringing new fabrics, finishes and creative collaborations to life every season.

Our Chairman, David Neilly, commented:

Sometimes business innovation comes out of disruption to what has been normal. The innovation does not always have to be the development of something new — it can be an improvement to something you are already doing.

David Neilly, Chairman

The Neilly Group's Managing Director, Judith Neilly, also added:

So many people don't realise the intricacy of fabric design, and how it leads our innovation to create our woven-in-house fabrics and products. Our design team love collaborating with other designers, and it's amazing to be recognised and awarded as a Gold Level Innovator by Innovate NI.

About John England

For over 55 years the brand has supplied linen and linen-blend fabrics to fashion, apparel and home interiors clients worldwide. The strength of the company is our ability to offer quality, on-trend cloth from stock — at competitive prices, on reasonable minimums, with personal service.

But John England is not just a wholesaler. As well as being designers there is also an in-house weaving factory with both jacquard and plain looms up to three metres wide, plus our own laundry for wash-finishing.

We can offer completely unique fabrics and special commissions to fashion designers — with trial quantities of just twelve metres and short lead times. The company is a member of the Neilly Group of companies.
